Getting audio different projects when encoding multiple sequences in AME from Premiere

$

When I have multiple sequences in AME queuing to be encoded to MPEG2-DVD the final clip has some audio from a completely different project.  This has happened several times.  I am using the latest update Premiere 12.1.2 (build 69) .  So far, this has only happened when encoding to MPEG2-DVD or Bluray, not H.264.  I could possibly (although unforgivably) understand if all of the encodings were simultaneous, but since they are encoding one at a time, I don't understand how this could happen.

AME distorts Audio when rendered from AE

When I render out of After effects through Media Encoder sometimes the audio warps and the timing is off. The audio is fin in AE just not after being rendered through AME. Is there a fix for this?

After Effects CC export to Adobe Media Encoder ends in error

Hello, community I am new to the forums this is my first post. Adobe Media Encoder fails to encode a project imported from After Effects CC. I did search the forums and tried possible solution posted which was to disable "import sequences natively" and changing video renderer to "Mercury Playback Software Engine Only" in preferferences > General in Adobe Media Encoder Settings.

Unfortunately trying the suggestions has not helped, I hope someone can help me resolve this issue please see the error below;

Cannot export Timeline

Let's say I import a video (and let the Media Encoder make a proxy to be able to work with the video) and cut out a small part of the video in the middle. I then paste it in the timeline in Premiere Pro. I then want to export this cutout, but when I go to the export window the part that I cut out (which is in my timeline) is not there, instead of a clip from the beginning of the source video is shown (also the duration of the clip is the exact same as my cutout). Why does this happen?? Is it something common that can be easily fixed?

Thanks!

Media Encoder fails when Exporting MPEG2 from AfterEffects Error Code 19

I recently upgraded from CC2017 to CC2018 on both my PC at work and my Mac at home. When I was using CC2017 encoding 1920x755 (for digital signage) worked fine to a MPEG2 file. Today, I was trying to encode to a MPEG2 file, and started getting this error below. It happens on both my Mac at home and PC at work.

I can get a 1920x1080 to encode, (1920x754 and 1920x756 both encode ok), the size I need to export for digital signage is 1920x755.

Is there somewhere I can find what frame size is supported by MPEG2 codec?

I feel like I've eliminated "hardware or memory problems"

Things I've tried so far:

- Uninstalled and reinstalled Media Encoder latest version (kept preferences from old CC2017 and also deleted preferences)

- Cleared all my media caches

- Restarted

- Updated video card drivers

- Tried a new simple AE project

Media Encoder fails likely bc of corrupt media, but can't find out how to fix the corruption

Hej,

I've been trying to render out a project and after different render settings, lengths, and options, my Media Encoder keeps failing at one specific time stamp. I've come to the conclusion that my source After Effects file may be corrupted in some way, since the render completely gives out no matter if I render half, 1/4, or just the end of the composition, and no matter what adjustments are made to my render settings,

I'm unsure what I can do to rectify this issue, since in my source media at that specific time stamp, no new media is introduced (no new comps, frames, etc....seems to happen mid comp for one specific comp).

Any idea what I can do to rectify the issue? The report that's generated says the following:

Additional Info:
Media Encoder CC (12.1.2 Build 69) [and updated and tried again before posting this...no change]

After Effects CC (15.1.2 Build 69) [also updated]

Mac OSHigh Sierra 10.13.5

Not too sure about the codec, but I'm rendering out at H264, and in a .mp4 container... whether high bit rate/youtubehd/facebookhd/highquality hd, keep getting same failure at same time.

Tried with Mercury Playback Engine Software Only and with Acceleration....same results...... which is why all of this is making me think it's an issue with me source AE files and not the encoder, but I'm really not sure...

Any help appreciated!

White changing to Off White in GIF Export

When I export my GIF it changes all my backgrounds from white (FFFFFF) to just barely off white (FBFBFB).

I have tested this with video exports and it's all fine, I have changed EVERY setting that can be changed, and nothing.

Here is my desired export setting:

Unfortunately as I'm trying to place these GIF images on a white website, the off-white background does not work for me, I'm at a loss!

How To Empty Queue?

For some reason, I have an untold number of files in my Media Encoder queue.

I can't seem to delete them (select all - delete key) and I just keep getting Not Responding.

Is there a way to start the program, clean, or force empty the queue?

At this point, I can't use Media Encoder at all.

loudness normalization does not work with multiple outputs

$

Hi,

I noticed, that the effect "loudness normalization" does not work properly when rendering one source to multiple outputs at the same time. I have 2 outputs (both h.264 and aac audio) and added the "loudness normalization" to both outputs, but with different settings. The results are completely different from the renderings with only one output at a time, but with identical settings. It would be nice to render to more than one output with stable results!

Or did I totally miss something?

AME v2015

Hi,

i have trouble with AME. Because of audio repeating glitch i have to unistall my AME v2015. After doing it i have no other option than instal AME v2017 which is not cooperates with my Premiere v2015. I dont want to update to Premiere v2017, because then i have to upgrade my whole OSX and also - in v2017 there is another MTS audio glitch, which i can not affort for my work.

After 3 hours trying to solve this problem on adobe technical support i receive only one answer - that i have to export my videos in Premiere. But.. when you input adjustment layers to your sequence, there is another glitch - stroboscoping black frames in exported video.

Im trying to find any way out of this but get into dead end. It seems that Adobe just dont give a damn about users problems. They smack you with Guptas (the guy on the "support") answer and thats all.

Can anybody somehow help me with this by sending me dmg file of AME v2015 or do you have any other solution?

Thank you

J.T.

Mp4 exporting - changing dimensions.

Hi

I am creating an animation in after effects for a sports game LED system that has the dimensions 5280x96px. Is there anyway of exporting this in Mp4 format with H.264? I know H.265 allows for this to be exported at this size but H.264 doesn't and reduces the width to 4096px. However I know not all systems support H.265. I would appreciate any expertise in this. Thanks.

Encode Puts _1 At The End Of All Files Except Ones Made With Iphone

I have done two batches of encodes of the same files with Media Encoder.

In both instances, Media Encoder's new files were Filename_1.ext.

That is, unless the original files were from an iPhone.

One encode was h.264 and the other was DNxHD.

Is there any reason for this?

Audio Export Doesn't Pass QC

$

Recently I delivered a series of videos to a client, and the audio didn't pass their QC software, but I haven't quite pinpointed why.

I exported the videos as H.264s with the audio as AAC, 48000 Hz, 320kbps, but they're claiming that the files are 41000 Hz and 128Kbps. In quicktime, it shows the files as 48000 Hz, and I double checked the preset I used and it says 320kbps.

My guess is that media encoder is doing a variable rate, so the kbps occasionally drops below 320Kbps and it flags their QC. Does that sound right? If so how do I make it constant? I don't see an option anywhere.

I also can't find any Mac software that will preform a QC on the files and show the audio bitrate. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks.

H264 MOV Encoding Removed??? WHY?

$

0

Adobe has removed the H264 MOV encoding option. Unfortunately our clients still require this format. One is a large multinational bank. Others include Playback Operators at large National Sales meetings.

Adobe, you say you removed it because Apple doesn't support it. But we think that polling the users if it was needed would be far more important. Just like you have DVD encoding, and tons of other weird and little used formats, I can't for the life of me understand why you removed this much more popular format. We are paying for subscriptions and you just lengthened our work process. NOW, we must export a high res file and re-encode it in QuickTime OR load the last version.

Does anyone else have this issue besides the corporate editors we know in Chicagoland?

PLEASE return the option to encode in H264 MOV format.

Media Encoder Crashing

Hello, My media encoder keeps crashing mid render. I'm trying to render 360 video at 5k. The only plugin that I used was Mocha VR.

It won't open when I select export media in adobe premiere. I have to manually open it in ME. Below is my crash report. Is there any other information I should provide when submitting a crash report like this?

Server or workstation hardware optimzed for AME?

$

Dear forum,

we are planning a small transcoding farm using several Adobe Media Encoders and a thiry-party tool called Helmut IO (Remote Node Renderer) from Moovit. The Helmut-tool is managing the jobs from watchfolders and Premiere client panels and assigns them to an idle encoding node.

On the one hand I am very happy to find that AME runs fine on any machine I have tried so far, on the other hand I would like to know whether there's an optimal hardware choice for AME. So far the AME is running ok on HP Z800 (with Quadro4000) and HP DL360G7 (without GPU).

I my mind I would go with some sort of server hardware and a GPU, but I have not figured out yet what codecs are significantly accelerated with a CUDA-compatible card. Since the CS6 times have passed and not only Quadro-cards are supported, a regular GTX-card should do well. In terms of CPU, Adobe recommends less cores and higher frequency.

If anyone has some input on that issue I would greatly appreciate it.

Best Regards,

Silvan

AME - TS Multiplexer GONE?

Hello,

I have lost the option to use TS multiplexer in the 2018 AME. I was using version 2017.1.2 (Build 11.1.2.35) AME for a years. My preset is based on a H.264 Blu-ray format. My presets for daily workflow have migrated to AME 2018. However, some of my presets no longer encode a .m2t file. They are demuxed .wav and .m4v. I need to encode .m2t files for my media server. What has changed and why? Any help would be great. I can email you my preset to make this clear if need be.

Thank you!
